Audiences still have not forgotten Sissel’s stunning performances at the Choir and Orchestra’s 2006 Christmas concerts. The concert was shown in 2007 on PBS stations to 4 million viewers around the country. A gala celebrating the 95th birthday of President Russell M. Nelson will be held Friday, September 6, 2019, in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Performing artists Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four, GENTRI, The Bonner Family, Nathan Pacheco, and Donny Osmond will join The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for the evening celebration. Youth worldwide are invited to participate in the Youth Music Festival, a virtual global concert.
