2019 Pioneer Day Concert
The concert will be live streamed on thetabernaclechoir.org.2019 Featured Guest Artist: SISSELInternationally acclaimed Norwegian-born singer Sissel will be the featured guest for the Choir and Orchestra’s 2019 Pioneer Day Concert. Audiences still have not forgotten Sissel’s stunning performances at the Choir and Orchestra’s 2006 Christmas concerts. The concert was shown in 2007 on PBS stations to 4 million viewers around the country. The Christmas CD, Spirit of the Season, was #1 on Billboard’s Classical chart for nine weeks and was nominated for two Grammy® awards. Read more about Sissel here.
President Nelson’s 95th Birthday Celebration
A gala celebrating the 95th birthday of President Russell M. Nelson will be held Friday, September 6, 2019, in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. Performing artists Jenny Oaks Baker & Family Four, GENTRI, The Bonner Family, Nathan Pacheco, and Donny Osmond will join The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square for the evening celebration.
