Elder Jeffrey Shumway, professor emeritus of music from Brigham Young University and a full-time senior missionary, will highlight an evening of music centered around the early history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sunday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee Stake Center, 5455 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee.

Elder Shumway will be joined by missionaries Sister Diane Shumway, Sister Rebecca Allen, Elder Garff, Sister Anderson, Elder Laing, and Elder Hoppe.

Musical and vocal pieces will include “O My Father,” “I Lived in Heaven,” “I Know That My Redeemer Lives,” “Amazing Grace,” “Nearer My God to Thee,” “Clair de lune,” “Joseph Smith’s First Prayer,” and “Restored.”
