For local temple workers, Tallahassee Temple a game-changer

Devotional to feature music from LDS Church history

Elder Jeffrey Shumway, professor emeritus of music from Brigham Young University and a full-time senior missionary, will highlight an evening of music centered around the early history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sunday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee Stake Center, 5455 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee.

Gospel learning a focus for young Latter-day Saints

For young Latter-day Saints, gospel learning is not just a Sunday thing TALLAHASSEE – High school and college-age members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tallahassee area know a little bit about burning the candle at both ends. High school students participate in the church’s Early Morning Seminary program and college students take weeknight classes as part of the church’s Institute of Religion program to facilitate gospel learning.
