Earlier this year, Todd Queen joined the faculty at Florida State University as the new dean of the College of Music. “My journey to Tallahassee was led by the Lord,” Queen said.
Elder Jeffrey Shumway, professor emeritus of music from Brigham Young University and a full-time senior missionary, will highlight an evening of music centered around the early history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sunday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee Stake Center, 5455 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee.
This virtual concert will showcase music from the annual Church Music Submission. The music featured is published in the Church music library for members to use freely, including hymn arrangements for choirs, soloists, and instrumentalists as well as choir anthems. The prerecorded concert will feature performances of 20 music submissions and short gospel messages from children. Digital Viewing Option Church broadcast page More information
